Finding you

Out of this shell, she moves to the other - occasionally turning back to peek at the former.
The shells provided nothing but empty comfort.
How could this be true?
How could nothing fill that heart?

Terrified and desperate, she screams to the heavens from the depth of her soul.
She knows very well God has not forsaken her, yet she refuses to reach out to Him.
She calls but falls short of recieving.

Painfully, she indulges, numbing herself to herself.
Till the day a bottle fell on her, out splashed the icy water on her face.

It felt so cold, so cold she could feel it in her bones.
Then she realised her nerves let her feel.

Oh yes, finally...
Finally that human inside her realised...
Realised that no shell could ever fill a non-existent heart.

So her search was all wrong...
All she needs is to find retrieve that heart,
not picking up shells for shelter.

She thank God for dropping that bottle on her.
May she be a blessing to others just like how others have been a blessing to her.
